Been soooo busy these days till I didn't have time to blog or check my flist. ORZ. Going to be even more MIA in the next 2 weeks...T___T
Anyway, I figured that if I can finish my AFA stuff by Sunday, I can concentrate better on my proj cause I don't have to worry abt them. So I spent the whole of yesterday and today working on the stuff...and I'm around...75% done.

I must say though, I think I am starting to get abit sick of Suntec as an event hall, especially since the events are usually sharing space with other big events too, and man, THE PEOPLE. x__X So many. Toycon was already sasdkjladja enough, especially cause my costume is dragging the floor half the time and I was trying not to get stepped on. D8
Gonna miss having Expo as event hall for EOY. I think EOY this year will be crazy. And librarians will have a happy time chasing people away from having photoshoots in places they aren't allowed to.
Anyway, went into the GCA event hall on day 1 and found it kinda boring, as usual. Then again it's probably cause I'm not a huge gamer in the first place. Did the Choice battle version of Hyper Tsuna on the second day with Ecoli as Shou-chan, annnnnd I have a alooot of improvements to do before AFA. Anyway, much thanks to Ecoli for the wig, the glove crystals and all the help!! I'll do my best for AFA! On a side note, had fun with everyone during the event, and made a few new friends as well. 8D
Gotta start preparing for AFA soon. Firstly, I need to finish my ghey boa before parents comes back. x_x

Don't get me those bags that are like...office-lady ish okay. I'm studying, so I like bigger bags. I like sling bags and those one-shoulder bags, and I tend to choose bags because they look cute or because they look cool. I'm also looking for a big bag that I can use whenever I have to go for cosplay shoots or events...it has to be big, but not obvious, so that I can smuggle it out of the house easily~ XD;;

Reeeeeally lacking in these, but I don't think you guys shd get me, cause I'm very picky about shoes. Get me slippers instead! I like those simple flip flops, but they must be of cloth straps. Another kind I like is Birkenstocks-like sandles, but I don't like those...errrr...toe-based designs. I prefer those....erm....those designs that have straps instead. (okay i'm not making sense.)

Thought I was gonna missed it when big sis was like '=_= I dun have money to book.' SORRY SAGARA!!! DX And I was sdakajsdasd when she told be the tickets are like from 50 range. ORZ But yeah, she pulled out all her contacts and literally 出 all her powers to get two free tickets! So I rushed down to Kallang without dinner to catch it.
To get a detailed run down of the whole concert, go HERE.
Anyway, I have no idea HOW, but she managed to get two tickets at the premium area, and it was beside her boss. LOL. She was like 'sakdjksdjsd *curses*' to me later on.
The orchestra and choir are from NUS, so I wasn't really expecting much, but they turn out to be pretty good. Most of the music are from games that I've heard of but never played though, but some of them are quite epic and nice, such as Halo ones. Sis and I thought that Blizzard games have very lord-of-the-ring-feel OST (AND HOMG DIABLO 3 IS GONNA BE OUT in a few years time, but yeah) and MGS3's opening song sounds like some...James Bond movie opening credits (VERY SLEEZY TOO).
And then there's the crazy pianist Martin Leung who's....really crazy. @_@ He can play Mario songs at a CRAZY CRAZY speed. And he played the organ for that Castlevania song during encore. Another interesting one was from Chrono Trigger, and it has a kinda country rock feel to it that makes me thought of Crisis Core OST. The lead violinist is pretty good too~
Last but not least there's One Winged Angel, accompanied by a single electric guitar played by Tommy Tallarico. He didn't have a full rock band though, so it's more like...the original FFVII OWA with a guitar solo.
Hikari was played, but I was disappointed to see that they didn't include the chimes!! >__> And no KH footage due to copyright rules as well, so they played those old disney classic films shots on the screens. Which makes me wonder when is SE gonna have a KH concert??
So yeah, that pretty much sums up VGL~

HAHAHAHA DIE YOU STUPID SAND HEARTLESS THAT CAUSED ME SO MUCH GRIEF!!!

Anyway, managed to beat the fellow today after two tries (died in the first attempt)jkasdasjdsa I wanted to use limit break on it, but the timing is wrong all the time. @_@ It goes something like this...
Sand Heartless: *throws metal blocks at me and tries to hit me with its wind barrier*
Me: *blocks* Heh. *kena hit next by metal blocks* Shiiiit!
*tries to block again, failed, HP bar goes down and limit break is activated*
Okaaaay...
Sand Heartless: *still floating in mid air* 8D
Me: >( Shit. *heals and loses limit break chance*
askljkasjdklsjd So yeah, for the whole of the stupid fight, it went something like this. I was constantly running, blocking, healing and cursinghit it at any chance I can get. After around...I think 20 minutes or so, I managed to defeat it. ORZ
After that, came the next mission, which is to break pots, AND I FREAKED OUT WHEN THOSE NOBODIES POPPED OUT. ORZ Two at a time lor. WTF. So I died the first time cause I tried to tackle the FOUR OF THEM and died a horrible death (each of them have three bars of HP kjadlkajsd WTF). I retired, PANICKED, checked the mission walkthrough and was like 'OH I DON'T HAVE TO DEFEAT THEM AH'. So I went for another go...and I can practically feel my heart beating very fast lor. ORZ SO SCARY LAH THOSE NOBODIES. And when the words 'MISSION COMPLETED' showed on the screen, i was like 'HOMG YESSS T___T', and my hands were actually trembling. @___@
But man, playing KH is tiring. Two hours of it and I'm exhausted le. ORZ The adrenaline is gonna shorten my life maaaan. @___@

So yeah, continued playing KH today, managed to finally pass the stupid mission that I had been replaying over and over again for four times just cause I didn't have enough time to finish it at one go, annnnnd Axel came back from Castle Oblivion. More gayness ensued, then Saix sent him to go on a mission with Roxas as a form of punishment (for what happened at the Castle I think).
Happily, Roxas and Axel sets out for the mission, in which the objective was to collect hearts.
And then, this dude appeared, can't remember his name, but he was Monochrome Mickey's main rival, and Axel was like 'Never see this dude before. Suspicious! We must FOLLOW HIM AND SEE WHAT IS HE DOING'
SO, NOW, I HAVE TO FRIGGING TAIL CLOSE BEHIND THE FELLOW AND IT'S FRIGGING HARD NOT TO GET SPOTTED LOR. DEAR AXEL, WHY CAN'T WE SPY ON HIM ON TOP OF THE BUILDINGS SINCE WE CAN LIKE, I DUNNO, JUMP? aslkdjksadjasjd

On a side note, played some Crisis Core today, and I managed to NOT DIE~ 8D I think playing KH helped in a sense that I'm more....used to hands-on realtime battle now. Was abit confused with the controls at first cause I had been playing KH continuously for the past two days. But man, I wish I can spam Materia magic as much as I want in KH as in CC. ORZ Magic is so limited in KH!! ksdjlsdjsad
Watched 'Dance, Subaru' as well....and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The dances are beautiful and awesome, the tear-jerking scenes made me tearful, DBSK's 10 seconds screen time surprised me abit when they suddenly appeared (even though I was expecting them to appear), but it still left abit of .....'huh, that's it?' in me. Like how Okuribito did as well. Maa na.

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Anyway, just started playing it yesterday night...it's...tiring. @_@ ONE MISSION PER DAY. Wtf and the missions aren't very easy either. I'm rather annoyed about the fact that you can't save during the missions OR PAUSE THE STUPID GAME BECAUSE EVEN IF YOU PRESS 'START' THE HEARTLESS WILL STILL BE HITTING YOU EVEN THO THERE'S THE 'Continue' AND 'Retire' OPTIONS THERE. WTF.
But yeah, Axel and Roxas are damn gay. Since the game is like Roxas's diary, so it's played day by day. And maaaan, between day 14 to 17, after you finish a mission, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO IS YOUR PARTNER, but you'll see a cut scene where Roxas and Axel are sitting at the clock tower, eating Sea Salt Icecream AND STARING AT EACH OTHER.
And ah, Xion is Mary Sue. Am still curious about who she really is tho. Is she one of the KH main game character's Nobody? And I can't understand why Square Enix, or even, TETSUYA NOMURA would create such a character. ._. It better beeee a good reason.
Oh, and Xaldin. I can't look at him now and not imagine him going 'Hey baby, I'M LOOKING FOR SOME FUUUN' and 'Ooooh You touch my tra la la' /kuso........thanks to that Youtube vid. Ahaha. @_@

As a RP-gamer, that is. Errrrrrr, for those who don't know, I SUCK BIIIIG TIME AT RPG. Mostly because I didn't have much experience with these kind of games from young...since I usually play either strategy or puzzle games when I was a kid.
But yeah, tried playing Crisis Core today...=3= Sag, please stop laughing at me. ORZ. I can't tell which is worse: Getting lost on the map in Basara while playing as Yukimura (and flailing about), or getting killed four times by the stupid robot and cursed and scream like there's no tomorrow as I attempt to beat it again.
To make describing it more simplier, I'll do this:
GAME: gives instruction in Japanese
ME: Errrrr *reads out instruction out loud in a slooooow manner* Wait, what was I supposed to do? /empty

At this point, I managed to figure out that the L1 and R1 buttons are for changing items during battle. And some where along the way, I figured out that the three Materia I had were Fire, Ice and Heal. So I spammed Heal most of the time.
Then there's the DMW, or is it DMC...err can't remember. It's that jackpot thingy that gives you power surge and stuff. I keep getting Cloud's silluetto at the start of the game. LOL. But yeah, that thing's pretty neat though~

I admit that watching those cut scenes first on YT helped abit since I kinda know what I was supposed to do....but it still didn't help in the battles. @___@ Took me a while to get the hang of it...and still, I don't think I'm entirely very good at it either. Errrr....

I WANNA WATCH CLOUD SMILES PERFORMED LIVE DAMMIT. askdljaskdjaksd 'Voices' concert was awesome as well...*o* 'The Promised Land' LIVE with the choir.... ;_; Sugoi daaaa.

Anyway, went to the FInal Fantasy music concert today at Esplanade~~~ I must thank Weilin for helping me get the tickets! Final Fantasy music LIVE~~ *prances*
THEY PLAYED FISHERMAN'S HORIZOOOOOON~~~~~~ SKLDJASDJSAD I was so HAPPY when I saw it listed in the programme booklet!! And then there's One Winged Angel for the last encore, and I think they purposely left it out of the programme list to surprise people or something. But come on, what's a FF concert WITHOUT that song? *__*
SFO did quite a good job with the music, considering that I think they didn't have alot of time to practise. The chorus wasn't too bad too. Didn't really like that soprano solo piece for FFXI tho. Hmm, but 'Marie and Draco' was....dramatic, in a good way~ my first Opera show in a sense. XD
Terra's theme and One Winged Angel were the two encores. Terra's theme was nice~~ though I feeeel that SFO's One Winged Angel isn't as good as some of those orchestra's I heard on youtube. Still, IT'S LIIIIVE. That's all that matters, and it's certainly better than nothing. Watching it live is a great experience, since you can actually hear the different instruments coming in and all. *o*
Now I wish to hear FFVII Main Theme LIVE. ;_;

Gonna try and improve my skills in softwares such as OpenCanvas and Illustrator. Had OC for quite a while now, and so far, I haven't been touching it. It'll need sometime to get used to I think. Illustrator, on the other hand, used to be my most hated programme. LOL. But it's seriously good for doing type related design and vector art. I'm kinda okay with it now that I've learnt Inkscape, but there's still alot of functions I haven't touched.

Man, this weekend was like 'PARK EXCURSION' or something. @_@ Been to a total of three different parks over the weekend: Mount Faber park, Japanese Garden, and TWICE to Labrador Park.
Started on Friday, where I wanted to go Mt Faber and Labrador park to scout the locations, to see if they are suitable for the Shimizu siblings shoot. Was initially planning to go alone, but my classmate was interested as well, so we bravely ventured ON FOOT (and some taxi trips) to both parks.
I must say one thing: THESE TWO PARKS ARE PROBABLY THE MOST INACCESSIBLE PARKS IN SINGAPORE. ORZ
Anyway, we went to Mt Faber first. Spent around 30 mins searching for the bus that will take us there, only to realise that IT ONLY OPERATE ON WEEKENDS. Brilliiiiiant. So we thought, hey, why not take the cable car? So we went to check the prices....AND IT WAS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. @___@ Mai tian, one way trip from harbourfront centre to mt.faber costs FRIGGING 17 BUCKS. WTF WTF.
So we took a cab up.
There was a lot of wind up there, and quite a number of tourists as well. We wandered our way around, and eventually reached the Faber point, which is the tallest point of the whole park, and saw the view of the whole harbour from there.
Walking down was tiring business. We walked along the road and was constantly at the risk of getting knocked down by cars. XD;;
After lunch, we set off for Labrador park, which is really ulu. It's like....tucked in a small corner of the coastline. The park is small, but there's also the nature reserve, which contains the preserved structures of the old Labrador fort (which I visited today), which is kinda suitable for Hetalia shoot but that is if people are willing to walk up to that place in costume. ._.. Then there's the jetty, which is quite long actually, and you'll get a full blast of sunlight in your face when you get to the end point of it, but the view is great and there's strong sea breeze there too~ :)

The other park I went to was Japanese Garden, on Sunday, for the Nabari shoot. Man, Sunday was hectic. I spent the whole morning running around getting the swords from lexis and jiaer. Then rush back to my house to change. We dressed at home, so there was this hilarious moment where neesan covered her pink wig with a beanie, while I covered my blond one with my jacket hoodie to avoid being seen by our neighours. XD;;
I was quite worried during the morning cause it rained, and it looked like it was gonna rain when we were on our way to Japanese garden. Luckily, by the time we were ready to shoot, the rain stopped and the sun began to come out again.
Couldn't get CX cause he got other commitments, so I called Jac instead, who called Augustine along as well, so we had two photogs that worked together to shoot some of the photos (in which one of them hold the flash transmitter, while the other took the photo).
I'm quite happy with the photos~~ although Augustine said that he could have done better, while I'm not really happy with myself. =_= *pokes own face* Didn't have the feel on that day. ORZ.

Watched the Japanese themed concert held by SCO on Friday~ The Tsuba pieces were haunting, and I feel like I'm in those Ayakashi stories. Then there's the FIFTY SEVEN YEAR OLD Taiko playing Ojiisan. SUGOI DA!!! aslkDJASDKJSAD His muscles are....scary. And he plays the big taiko drum like how we play a normal chinese drum. @_@ STAMINA DAMN GOOD. Looking at him play that taiko...I was reminded by the fact that I'm gonna play a similar drum during the end-of-year concert....I shall strive to play as dynamic as he did! BUT I DON'T WANT TO TURN INTO MUSCLE MAN D8!!!!

Manga wise: Not much to fangirl about this week. Tsubasa's being confusing AGAIN. =_= Bakuman was ALITTLE anti climatic for some reason. NO ONE PIECE. THE HORROR. Byakuran being silly in KHR and Dino LOOKING silly with his hair and wearing casual clothes, and Squalo's tough rabu, and Yama losing a tooth and alot of blood(AHAHA), and Tsuna finally opening his box will it turn into another uke27 otp? annnnd, that's about it. Another silly Ring battle coming up. I am so NOT looking forward. and I bet Byakuran's gonna pull out Mukuro to threaten them later on. It's like some Kdorama or something
Naruto? No comment. VK extra chapter was cute CAUSE IT HAS ICHIRU HARRESSING ZEROOOO~~ *prances* Lost canvas's latest battle is kinda boring. I hope it gets better AND SAGI, DUN DIE SO SOON PLEASE. =___=

Finally managed to catch up to Silver Diamond's latest chapter, only to be cliffhanged by it. ORZ CHIGUSAAA T___T He's such a poor thing. I WANT TO SAYANG HIM. RAKAN, GO SAYANG HIM NOW. T___T aslkdkadkalsdjsad
Am still trying to read Koori no mamono...currently at volume 16, but it's damn wordy. ORZ And abit draggy. I still prefer Silver Diamond in that sense. and the fact that the monks aren't helping is...kinda part of the reason why I am reading it so slowly.
Watched Pandora Hearts and 07 ghost's epi 1. Am disappointed with the animation (especially for 07 ghost....it seemed rather jerky, and the fight scenes are not as dynamic as those in the still panels of the manga. :/ ) Background for both anime are brilliant though. ._. I have a feeling the animators are better at stills. One pet peeve about 07 though: WHY DOES MIKAGE LOOK LIKE HE IS SMIRKING IN SOME OF THE SCENES?! =____=
And, LOL, Frau turned into kira kira bishonen in the anime. XDDD
Other than that, there's BASARAAAA~~ AHAHAH EPISODE 1: YUKI'S HEART GOT STOLEN BY MASAMUNE~~ *prances* OTP~~~ XD Haven't watch ep2 yet, but I heard that it's Nobu crack. 8D;;
Err, what else? *thinks* Still debating with myself if I should watch FMA or not. I lost the love for it a loooooooong time ago. D8 On the other hand, love for D.gray is back, thanks to the latest chapters. ALLEN~~~~~~~~~~~~~ slkdjkasdjlsadjasjdlkasdjk *o*

Homework: Due on Next Friday- Image book, to contain my works and stuff.
Have already started planning what to do, but I haven't really solidify the plans. Aha. Am going to have three booklets, probably A6 size. One's for the Homebase project, one's for b&w images and one for colour images.
I'm still considering as to what I can put into them though. I feeeeel like putting in some photographs I took, but I'm rather hesistant about their quality. @_@ Not sure if they are good enough or not.
But yeah, gonna start sorting out the images tonight, and start on the Homebase booklet tomorrow, since I already have an idea as to how it'll look like.
Now to think about how to package them together..............
